Einstein's Matriculation Certificate

It is a well known fact the Albert Einstein was not a good student with less than average grades, or is it?

Here are the matriculation grades from 1896, where 1 is the worst, 5 is good and 6 is excellent:

German - 5, French - 3, Italian - 5, History - 6, Geography - 4, Chemistry - 5, Drawing - 4.

Algebra - 6, Geometry - 6, Theoretical Geometry - 6, Physics - 6.
